Interested in the NRA 3 Gun Experience? 

Want to see if you have what it takes to run with the best of the best in 3 Gun? Or maybe you just want to spend a day at the range engaging in some friendly competition with your family and friends. NRA 3GE presented by Smith & Wesson offers just that! This recreational shooting program is designed to introduce shooters to the world of 3 Gun. While each event will vary based on the club or range hosting the event, pistols, rifles and shotguns will be used.

Pistols

Events may use .22 caliber semi-automatic pistols, airsoft pistols or both. Targets will be approximately 15 feet from from the firing line.

Rifles

Events may use .22 caliber semi-automatic rifles airsoft rifles or both. Targets will be approximately 20 feet from from the firing line.

Shotguns

Events may use 12 or 20 gauge semi-automatic/pump action shotguns airsoft shotguns or both. Targets will be approximately 15 feet from from the firing line.

What experience do I need?

No experience is necessary. NRA 3GE is designed to expose new and intermediate shooters to a safe, family friendly, mildly competitive, recreational shooting activity. Beginner shooter? No sweat! NRA Certified Instructors and Range Safety Officers will be on-site to guide you through all the basics so you are safe and can have fun. 

What equipment do I need?

All equipment is provided by the host, however, you can contact your event host if you are interested in providing your own firearms and ammo. 

What type of clothing should I wear?

Since 3GE will expose you to the world of action shooting, we recommend comfortable clothing that allows movement. Closed-toe shoes such as tennis shoes are also required.

How is 3GE different from 3 Gun?

3 Gun matches are highly competitive and require extensive experience and equipment. NRA 3GE is a fun, recreational shooting program for the whole family that is designed to give you exposure to the sport.

What kind of athletic skills are required?

While NRA 3GE events involve moving and engaging in different targets, this is a fun, recreational activity and individuals of all different athletic abilities will be able to participate and enjoy. 

Will there be someone on-site to help me?

Nervous about attending the event? Don't worry! NRA Certified Instructors and Range Safety Officers will be available to help teach and guide you through every step of the way so you can enjoy the 3 Gun experience in a safe and fun environment.
